At Regend Therapeutics, our mission is to deliver life-saving therapies to patients with severe, irreversible organ damage that conventional drugs cannot address. As frontrunners in regenerative medicine, we have established a breakthrough regenerative medicine framework that utilizes tissue-specific epithelial stem cells (also called “progenitor cells”) to repair injured organ structure and to restore organ functions.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) represent some of the most urgent unmet needs in global healthcare, affecting hundreds of millions of people and driving substantial morbidity and mortality. Unlike traditional pharmaceutical or medical devices that merely alleviate symptoms or provide partial repair, regenerative medicine seeks to restore the structural and functional integrity of damaged tissues or organs through systemic regeneration in degenerative and damaged diseases.

REGEND001, also called Aeriotemcel, is an innovative autologous lung progenitor cell therapy for the treatment of a range of chronic and progressive pulmonary diseases. Phase ll clinical study results for REGEND001 demonstrate its potential to significantly and sustainably improve lung gas transfer capacity in COPD and lPF patients by repairing and regenerating damaged alveolar structures. These promising findings present a potential new treatment paradigm for a condition that was previously considered irreversible.

REGEND003 is a pioneering regenerative therapy to restore kidney structure and function, offering a potential fundamental solution to renal failure. This product utilizes the intrinsic regenerative capacity of urine-derived progenitor cells to treat patients with CKD, whose kidneys have been severely injured and lost its own recovery ability. Derived non-invasively from urine, kidney progenitor cells are expanded in vitro and reintroduced into kidney injury sites, where they drive functional regeneration of tubular and glomerular cells through dual mechanisms of differentiation and paracrine signaling, ultimately repairing renal structure and enhancing kidney function.

Beyond REGEND001 and REGEND003, Regend Therapeutics is advancing a broad pipeline targeting epithelial organ systems, including the brain, liver, uterus, and pancreas. Leveraging its adaptable organ regeneration platforms, the Company is extending its approach from lung and kidney to additional high-burden indications, with the goal of building a scalable, multi-organ regenerative medicine franchise.
